what kind of ebooks are you uploading? are they ones you wrote yourself as well?

I have written a Cakes Recipe Book.
The book is in free promotion.
Book is available here : http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IX4EM04
I need some reviews for it.
Please help me by posting a good review for my book after 1 - 2 days so that amazon do not delete the review.

I will happily return you the same favour whenever you will be needing a review for your kindle book.

I did not know James Patterson just hires people to write books

Who does he hire and how much does he pay I suppose he gives a cut in sales too
How can he get away of being Author and not write books?

This cake recipe guy is getting really annoying. Every kindle thread I read I see this cake recipy link...

I like seeing the comments from folks who have not had success as well as those who have. It should help us all avoid the things that just waste our time.

feel the same bro. instead of trying to promote his stuff on pinterest and twitter which would be a marketing experience for him

So, I've been on the forums for almost two months. I've been experimenting with Kindle for a month now, and the week ending 6/22 I hit $100. The week ending 6/15 I made around $54. I know it's not a lot for the week, but I consider this a hobby because I have a full-time job. Yes, I hope to make six figures off of this, but you have to appreciate the small goals you hit on the way to the ultimate accomplishment.

Also, I wasn't able to upload as many books as I would like. I should be able to double this amount in the next two weeks, though. I have one book going live in the next two days(coming off KDP Free promo), and two other books I am uploading tonight.

Furthermore, this is with pretty much zero marketing. I plan on researching some marketing techniques. I think I could easily double my book sales with minimum effort once I get a good marketing system down.

What I've learned in my very short career in IM is just try and enjoy what you're doing. This is all about being creative, and creating things is fun. Have fun with what you are doing, and the success will come.

Hi there,

Glad to see that you are succeeding in a method I am interested in. (although realistically its not something I can attempt in my current situation)

I just have a few questions.

1. How good are you at writing? Are you a writer with a large collection of things you have written? Maybe highschool level? College level? University master level? PHD?

2. Are you writing stories? Self help books? Informative books on random subjects? (I dont need specifics... but I like to write fiction, so i dont know if fiction is over-saturated or not)

3. If you have a complete book how long does it take to submit it into kindle? Like say you wrote it in notepad or word... is it a long process to get the book into the kindle market from just text?

4. Does kindle pay you weekly? Monthly? I see you accumulated 54$ on 6/15, but is that when you received payment? **same question for 6/22**

5. Are you writing in multiple niches? Are these niches in the same genre? Do you enjoy the niches? Or do you enjoy writing in general, making writing things not in your preferred reading genre easier?

Sorry for all the questions. Writing...more like making stories has always been a secret passion of mine. Even though I never did much of it outside of primary school... my goal(how i was brought up) was always... school... college... basics... either doctor/lawyer... or a trade for last resort. But I am the black sheep of my family... so I'm a drop out. Lost lots of opportunities... not just in schooling but in LOTS of different stuff... I've done lots of things... got into lots of cool/exciting stuff... and destroyed opportunities for myself... lol -.-'..... I have a habit of "leaving".

Anyways, if you respond, thanks!
