I hit $100/ week with Kindle

Congrats! I have been doing some research and am planning to churn out my first book with kindle soon, this is inspiring. I would love to be added to the skype group and and tips or help (like a referral to that lady who charges $20 per book) would be greatly appreciated. First of all, i don't really understand what are you doing. Are you make your own product and sell it or make money as an affiliate?

Well done on getting your first $100.

To answer the previous question, KDP allows you to publish your own books. It is not an affiliate program.

I have found that realistically you can only scale to about $100 per day (about $36,000 per year) doing it all on your own, unless you write a best seller!

To scale further you need to look at outsourcing. Like any business you will need to invest a bit to do that.

For most people to make a pretty good living you will really have to turn more into a publisher than an author. I now very rarely bother to write the books from scratch myself anymore and tend to use the James Patterson model - he is the best paid author in the world - $84 million last year - and basically gets others to write his books for him.

A lot of people seem to be talking what type of books to sell on Kindle.

I have just agreed a publishing deal and that means I am not allowed to publish independently any more.

Extracting the books that are part of the publishing deal, I still have books that currently net me over $3000 per month on Kindle left.

I therefore wondered if anyone would be interested in a deal to take over ownership of them?

I tried Kindle publishing but the books came out a mess, they wouldn't format right on my own kindle and then the previews on the Amazon pages were shit. I guess I need to work on it more.

Was using the InDesign export plugin.

lool kindle is great the problem is i need some omey to invest or to make my ebook come alive , but i will work hard , i will write some high quality stories fiction and non fiction , over 10.000 Word they will be ready for summer .
