Hi All,

Recently was made redundant from a university i worked at as an IT Supervisor before leaving HR promised to write me a Full detailed reference letter and have it sent to me and even showed me the example of letter i should be expecting in the post. seems like they played me for a fool and wont be getting this letter.

what wouldyou do if a big univeristy played you for a FOOL and you still have access to their main email account etc.

Don't do anything stupid, they can sue you if you misuse their accounts.

Why won't you be getting the letter? Did they tell you that they won't write you one?

How many weeks have you been waiting for the letter?

While working with them, have you seen anyone received such letter from them??

Just think before taking any drastic action that you might regret.

Don't be afraid to insist like crazy. Write them every day asking about your letter. If they stop answering go make them a visit. They gave you their word, so don't be afraid to be pushy or annoying. After a while it will be easier for them to write you the damn letter than deal with you annoying them.

Hopefully everything worked out. To be honest, I don't even think they did you wrong. That's how life is bro! You ask for oranges and life gives you lemons!
