I got fired, time for revenge

man, that's what happens when you work for somebody. I know you are annoyed, because you didn't get paid for the last 2 months, but try to think about this problem, like you were the owner of the business.

When you hire somebody, you hire him for life? Of course not, you hire somebody because you need him to do something for you, and that's it. He has to do the tasks you give him, because you pay him for that.

What if you were the owner and a person that you fired would try to revenge on you?

We are not kids anymore, so revenge is not really the good thing to go on such a situation.

Backdoor stuff :) Use the website for your own advertising without them to know about it. Also you can redirect the visitors and make cash with the traffic.

You 'd have a point if the employer had paid him for the work done instead of stealing from him.
 
Revenge will only outcome the worst. Let the natural karma do its job. Move on!

Running a business and giving someone virtually all access is a recipe for disaster. Good luck, don't get into trouble :)
 
I'd have just deleted a ; somewhere...

Hit up cPanel and deleted any log/server files and sat back and waited for the phone call.
"Pay me what you owe me and i'll look for it..."
Needle/haystack springs to mind...

Then get in with a competitor, take the site files and work on a better site for your new friend.
Hammer the rankings and wipe the floor with them.
When you are up and owning the keywords make sure they get to know who is running the site & SEO for this company.

Smile for the camera.
 
Good luck man. I'd say good riddance and move on. A guy with your skills can easily move on to a new endeavor (or company) and make $.
 
Answer is simple. He didn't pay you for the work you did, he shouldn't keep it.

Make a local copy of the files, then delete the files off the server, and the backup. change the db passwords, and let him start from scratch.

If they had paid you I would say just move on, but they didn't. They screwed you, now screw them, and don't use lube. Make it hurt ;)

So you were adding products too slowly? How hard is it to add products to a catalogue or sales page? Are you sure that was the real reason you were fired?

Sounds to me like your SEO was extremely blackhat and they received complaints then fired you.

LMAO Now that would be epic. Change all the prices to 1.00 then go post over at slickdeals and have them hammer the hell out of the page.
 
This is a bad idea right from the start. Its just going to come back and bite you on the ass. I'm sure if you highlighted everything you have done and any grievances you may have in writing and ask for a meeting with your employer, then brought it to his attention exactly how much work you have done and that he owes you 2 months wages that you say he never paid you.

If that does not work, maybe seek some free legal advice before you decide to do anything that could land you in jail.
 
Best advice I can give you is find their biggest competitor and approach them and tell them what you have done for the guy you worked for. The best kind of revenge is watching a site you work on beat your old boss in the SERPS.
 
just deindex there site and encode html codes so they can't edit it. don't delete anything you will be sue doing that.

I would just do that, and destroy the on-site seo. Leave the website alive, but encode the source code, cut the on-site seo and deindex a few pages.
Vengeance comes slowly...

Also, you can move some files and call them from another site, so after some time you could mess with it, wait a bit then fix it, repeat it 3 days later... you know what I mean :cool:
 
I didn't read the whole thread, but that's an easy one... add a robots.txt with no index and bam! no fucking traffic from search engines :D
