I exposed an IG scammer

This post is dedicated for people learning and not getting scammed. I have an IG account with 50k followers, and a "girl" reached out to me - 111k followers, a model, 8-10k likes on posts, verified account, talking about giveaways and verified account selling, but "she" had 0 publicity. Here is how conversation went:

I exposed him such that he committed that he is a scammer. what are you talking about bro

It is. Later on I kept messaging and found out that it was actually a guy who pays money to the model, and scamming with verified thing.
 
Most people get that on Instagram often such as I got few scam sort of trys for I normally just never reply back to them or sometimes tell them colourful story back

Exposing and catching someone are two different things. You can't expose someone without telling who is he.

I'm not saying you should, just that you didn't expose them.
 
Hahhaa the way she responds "Thank you" to your good scam.
Crazy that even verified people can run these scams. Stay safe!
