@PaddyVu You said that CTR > Retention but the more I use YouTube the more I realise that your statement is false.
I got many videos with low CTR but retention is around 70-80% so youtube algo pushes video
and all videos who have a super high CTR like 30-40 % but retention is low, youtube algo doesnt push
So after many tries, I came to the conclusion that Retention > CTR by a million times. I got a video with 2,6% CTR but retention was high so youtube started pushing like crazy.
Also: The retention of the source is important, not the overall retention.
For example, retention in search is low but in suggested videos/browse feature is high = algo push
