I discovered how algorithm work

so from the looks of it, you don’t even need the external reddit views anymore? You just post a good video and wait for the push?
Yeah, seem like that LOL, no use of external now... :) good title + troll comments are everything i needed

Any tips for 2-3 minute videos?
Try to make first 30 seconds interesting, algorithm like to see people watch 100% in first 30 seconds, they are pure important, then the rest is fine, i think from now on i will make video with a duration of 31 seconds only, they will surely rewind those last 5-10 seconds because it's too funny, make it higher than the rest of the video and i'm good :D

Thanks man

it is legal if i buy real views from an smm panel?
the source of views comes from: "Suggested videos, Direct or unknown, Browse features"

Yep, viral checking passed and now i'm good XD, clearly engagement is the key plus excellent retention rate, 90% ( length 31s ). 9k views but 580 likes => 1 engagement per 15 views holy cow

Don't be so happy, usually, that kills the engagement and the videos and maybe the channel. I had this 2 times and the channel's views got to -500%.

from the start, my channel doesnt work with video higher than 4 mins, but below is good, they dont really like to engage much with long video

@PaddyVu You said that CTR > Retention but the more I use YouTube the more I realise that your statement is false.

I got many videos with low CTR but retention is around 70-80% so youtube algo pushes video

and all videos who have a super high CTR like 30-40 % but retention is low, youtube algo doesnt push

So after many tries, I came to the conclusion that Retention > CTR by a million times. I got a video with 2,6% CTR but retention was high so youtube started pushing like crazy.

Also: The retention of the source is important, not the overall retention.

For example, retention in search is low but in suggested videos/browse feature is high = algo push
Neither of you are right or wrong. It's a mix.

The metric is called estimated [redacted] [redacted] per [redacted] and it's a function of both. (If you know what it is - I suggest not revealing it, it's better if people figure it out themselves.)

i have a question, is it possible to extend the length of the video using youtube editor?

lmao this one was long dead, it gain like 10-20 views/hour and after messing around with editor, i revived it to over 300 views/ hour XD, and all others viral video got revived also. Unbelievable :D

Understanding how YouTube algorithm works is a very essential knowledge to become successful on YouTube. Great post!

This one is considered dead 2 weeks ago also, 10-30 views/ hour, i mess around with editor and revive it back to 1k views/hour :D

What exactly are you doing in the editor? Are you trimming some of the video and saving? Is this some type of exploit to give the video a boost? Sounds Interesting.
Yes, trimming => revert it back => trimming => revert it back, algorithm will be headache lmao
