Hello Guys,

I joined a firm last year. At the time of joining, the employer and me mutually agreed on a 10 months bond and he took around 800 dollars as security money. (I needed job that time and this was the only option left). At the time to joining, They said that I will get the security amount back after the bond completes.

After 10 months when my bond period was over, I asked for my security amount of 800 dollars, he said that money will be given to you when you leave the job. This was very frustrating for me as I needed money that time. but somehow I managed and waited.

Finally after working in most deadly conditions , I finally quit job in April this year. after resigning I served the notice period and did my best to help the guy replacing me.

AND NOW LAST MONTH WHEN I CONTACTED THEM FOR SECURITY MONEY,THE ASSHOLES SAY THAT I DON'T DESERVE THE SECURITY AMOUNT AND THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN GIVING ME MONEY.

Things have gone real bad for me and really need money. 800 dollars I a very big amount for me.

I don't have any receipt or proof that I have given them money. But I have copy of mails exchanges in which they have said that security amount will be given to me once I quit job.

What should I do? :(

UPDATE:Just called them and now they are saying that I have broken bond and they have proofs of that!

ask them paper where they clear Your payment. ask them pay slip of 800 $ where u sign while receiving Money. if they given gud else call police file cause against them.
 
Small claims court. Or, whatever it's called in your country. The emails are time, dated & verifiable documented proof of your claims. Good luck!
 
Why dont you contact a lawyer and explain your situation.I think you will get better suggestion from him than a blackhat forum.

They will clearly say that they don't owe me any money!

They are an Ireland Based SEO firm and I was working on a senior profile there handling a team of around 20 SEO executives. Never expected this :(

Just called them and now they are saying that I have broken bond and they have proofs of that!
 
Take them to small claims court and represent yourself. Bring all the evidence you have.

This is small claim court is not applicable in my country.
Guys is there any other way to take my money back?
How about hiring some press release services to share this news?
 
From what you've said you have no official documentation proving you gave them the $800? If you paid that money with either a cheque or through a bank transfer, that would be proof.

If that's not the case, do you have any email communication from them where they are acknowledging you've paid them the money? You could try sending another email, in which you mention the $800 paid, the terms that were agreed at the time and asking them for their reasons for not repaying the money. Hopefully their reply to that email would then show their acknowledgement that the money was paid to them.

If you had an employment contract, does it mention anything about bond payments? If so you could use that to help your case.

From a legal perspective, whatever reasons they cite for not returning the money could likely be refuted, as those reasons would need to be something along the lines of breaking conditions in the contract - and unless they gave you written notice of any wrong doing whilst you were employed, they have no proof.

One option would be to gather as much information as possible and then have a solicitor's letter sent to them. That wouldn't cost too much and may be enough to get them to return the money.
 
Get a baseball bat, wait for the chief and teach him how you can break the bond between his bones.

Honestly, people like this should burn in hell. Cant understand why they do such fucked up things.

Ok, let me put this in another way.

Now you are fucked. So you have 2 options
1- Charge back and attack with whatever you can find.
2- Let it be a life lesson, learn from it, dont waste VALUABLE time striking and spend it on creating money.

I paid them in cash. When I said that I would Like to pay by cheque, they said that they accept cash only.

Yes, I have a mail in which security amount is discussed. I completed my tenure successfully.

But the problem is now they are saying that I have broken a bond. According to them I signed another bond of six months in Jan this year. They also said that they have my sign and thumbprint on the bond papers!

Sounds so dodgy, get in touch with a lawyer paying in cash did not help your case at all. Hope things work out OK, if the lawyer says nothing can be done, I would out the company etc

Unfortunately it sounds like your only option is the legal route. If you signed another 6 month bond in January and resigned in April that may count as breaking the bond, depending on the wording. It may however, mean you are entitled to have it returned after the 6 months, which would be next month. Read through the terms of the bond and see what your obligations were.

If you did not sign a new bond in January and can prove that, then you invalidate their cited reason for not returning the money. Ask them for a copy of that bond document and let them know you will be taking it to a lawyer, along with the other supporting documentation you have. If they are lying about the new bond, that may be enough to do the trick.

I can easily do this one too, but it won't get my money back and I am in need this time. I have left this as last option ;)
But before breaking his bones, I will break all his client. Being a reputed SEO firm, he has lots of things to loose. Just a xrumer blast on all of client's sites would be enough to make him dead. But then, what will be the difference between me and those assholes..

I didn't signed any bond. I asked for the copy of that bond and they said "I am not interested in giving that to you!" I think a court notice asking of document's copy can do that. thanks for the help. :)

As for the SEO firm you worked tell that fucker if you don't get your deserved money you will negative SEO his website (where he most probably gets all the clients). If he doesn't have a website the we will just do negative reputation on him and his company.

I totally hate these kind of problems and I'm all with you to help going out of this. Let me if you don't sort it out in your advantage.
 
I do have experience with this type of tactics by companies to earn money through their employees.. i really don't appreciate it and really hate it.

If they are trying to scare you by saying that you broke their bond and they wont pay etc etc.. then you scare them with the hell lot of stuff. Negative SEO on their client's sites and ruin their reputation like hell. Show them the stars and then they will never do such type of stuff with the Internet Marketer or those who are innocent.

Don't spare these type of AS&^U*Ho^e$ X(
 
This has to be dealt legally. The idea of getting press releases and stuff is not going to work. Get a lawyer and file a suit. You will get your money back, and you could claim for a compensation for all the troubles made. As far as I know, Email should serve as an evidence.
