Worth asking:.
A "checkatrade" bot used to scrape user details, ie business name, full name, mobile and website address with pagination based on their search method ie a "Plumber" in "Hampshire".
It would be ideal for 7878's offline marketing method.

Else thank you for the tools so far, I can see you've put a lot of time and effort into developing useful bot's for the masses. Good luck with any others!
 
hello botrockets.. its about Youtube.. sometimes we upload the vids but they cannot get rank.. can you create a bot for tracking our uploaded video rankings on YT (on which position our video is) .. so that we can track our vids by dragging video url in the bot
 
any bot to find high pr blogspot or wordpress blog which are available to register, or dumped blog with with more than x number of backlinks

Check out Mechanize and BeautifulSoup for python. The book Violent Python has a chapter on bots, but you can research with Google.

Is there a bot that signs up for a forum, remembers the login info, post to different random forum topics on a cron?

How about a Squidoo bot of some sort. Where you just enter a bunch of Squidoo logins and point them at a Lens to like/comment on. Squidoo is really a common platform a lot of us could use.
 
Dude, make a program that can allow you to pitch en-masse (by name) to your LinkedIn connections. A LION (LinkedIn Open Networker) with a few thousand strangers connected to him would pay good money to be able to reach out to CEOs on his list (or others specific to his niche) and pitch a sale to them, without them knowing it was automated by a bot.

Just sayin'.
