We had some 20-30mph gusts this morning. The clouds were churning, it was pretty unreal. That's about it though. Dried off the rain from last night. Some branches and debris around, and a TON of leaves fell. A good-sized branch smacked my car. Looks like we have zero rain chance for the next week, but it's going to be incredibly windy for the next 8-10 hours.
Glad everyone stayed safe.

Really glad to see that nobody is posting horror stories about Ole Matty causing any major ruckus. We lost power around 11:00AM or so my time which at most was an inconvenience as losing power also means losing running water as the utility company has a substation near me that also lost power and for some crazy reason do not have a generator back up.
Thanks to all for the prayers, good wishes and positive energy.
Anyway, I woke up to my usual sunrise which is one of the reasons we bought this home back in February to spend our retirement.
