Hurricane Matthew

is there alligators there? looks like a perfect place for them)
I was about to buy a baby alligator, even got a license for my state, but never drove to Florida yet

Any natural disaster is very scary for me.
Can only pray to get it over.
Stay safe everyone there...

I hear Hurricane Nicole is right behind Matthew. They say there's a chance they both may collide.

They come through here now and then; someone always calls the State to come and relocate them as they eat the ducks that are semi-pets here.

Stay safe, guys. We are getting rain and wind dumped on us here... 300+ miles from the eye.

BTB you better give us a house tour now, you already gave us the backyard tour. ;)

If they end up having children, I'm going to file a formal protest with NHC.

Last video here - the eye is just a tad South East.

Damage is negligible; mainly branches on the ground and a bunch of leaves in the front yard.

Nothing but a little grunt work.

@Sherbert Hoover - you'll be OK up there as it will diminish in power but you are going to get wet; I don't know what we got in rainfall as the rain gauge is sitting on the East side of the house and the wind is blowing the rain from the west but it is a fair amount judging by how the lake is coming up on the dock.

I doubt you'll have power issues as those are usually related to high winds.

Either way, it never makes sense to not take some reasonable precautions.

Nicole and Matthew will never collide because it's not possible for hurricanes to collide
