I control not only my position but that of my competitors, this smells like a big backroll
hundreds of positions where sites are usually with authority are now occupied with sites of low relevance, few links, new etc etc.
I also noticed a more pronounced descent of the ahref ranking. this confuses me

Here is another thing I noticed.
Posts are not getting indexed easily.
Url submission worked even within 4 hours, now not working even after 7 days!
I fetched and rendred and it worked lastly after 12-15 hours.

do you check every kw details or just the summary at front?
my summary are also went up but if i check the KW one by one its goes down

Maybe it's something related to the December update? After december update one of my website went from position 5 to page 2... but after almost 3 months on stable page 2, it went back on page 1 over the last couple of days...
I don't know, in the past 20 days I only changed my hosting, but it was really bad with uptime and (yesterday) I switched again to better hosting, I hope the problem was this and recover my traffic fast!

Fact of the matter is Google's AI is constantly "updating" itself. It is just a matter of rather or not it hit a nerve... and it seems that for some, this (or these, since it changes many things daily) recent change did cause waves.
The writing on the wall is still the same though. The little guys get shook up, and the big dogs stay rich. Expect more of the same as we progress this year. I only see it getting more expensive to conduct successful SEO, which should do wonders for narrowing the field for those of us left.
