Huge update in google?

I am seeing a massive update in my serps in last 2 days, some sites going up tp 30% and some going down to 50%..... Also a LOT spam sites in first 3 pages

Anyone else?

I also experienced the same.
Lots of new sites (didn't check if they are spammy) are in the first page.
Didn't see any massive change in my money site though.
 
Ohhh, that's interesting. We can't really be sure though. Google's actions sometimes come by surprise.

I’m seeing big google dance in my kw since yesterday
 
For me, ranks went up :) including getting more leads now on my niche site.
 
I was ranking some good keywords.

After this update lifewire, the spruce and bestproducts overtook me. In the same fcking time. All of my kw's . Looks like google is dancing by ziffdavis, purch and heirst whistle.
 
I thought it was just me, and googles usual reshuffle, but I have seen a lot of sites I own going down but some came back up today, something is deffo happening, the exact same time as it happened last year to me and I lost a lot of my income spent the rest of last year building it back up again and yesterday I noticed massive loss again in traffic and in rankings but it seems to be all over the place as my competitors are bouncing around as well with lots of amazon/google books ranking in the adult niche as well as jimdo and etsy really bizzare. But hey ho just let it settle it down. This is actually why i came to the Bhw Forum today to see if anyone had posted anything
 
We need a banner saying "If your ranking fluctuate It doesn't mean big update in Google" May be sometime.

for Google changes like this in algorithm are normal.
 
I am surprised of this round of google change and lack of posts from BHW members !!

i have searched few other sites, it seems mobile page load might be a culprit? not sure

I would usually agree with you and say its just the usual fluctuations but I am noticing a very different trend since yesterday. To find Google books and Etsy shops ranking for big money adult keywords is very worrying and this is the same for a load of keywords that I usually make a lot of money on.Time will tell I guess but I cant see a good user experience for a honry guy when he finds google books in the search results what a joke!

That's a good point, I wondered if mobile was something to do with it as my traffic went way down yesterday particularly in mobile
 
it was a dance since march 1, it seemed things got back to normal few days ago, but now as of yesterday, it gone back to the extreme points that happened around march 1-2.

me too, since 1-2 march my kw's dance like crazy, but my visits was stable, since yesterday night I lost around 50% traffic and my kw's still dance like crazy, I hope my visits will be back, but i'm worried about this
 
Yes looks that way .. Anyway it seems for today and yesterday Google thinks that guys would rather read about porn or buy adult products or learn from Wikipedia.... They don't want adult videos, cams and dating no more lmao! Reading is the way to go!
 
I think that if in the next 24 hours traffic will not get back, it won't get back again in the next days :/

Same here, I guess it's a waiting game to see what happens, easier said than done but try not to worry too much, it will settle down.
 
Yes, I have seen this change from last 5/6 days. This change brings 20% more new keywords at first page of my money site.
