Hello,

I was just checking fiverr, surprisingly there are tons of gigs offering links from huffington post , medium , instructables for $5 each.

And then there are also services giving this for $300.

Am i missing something? Because this does not fit.

Eg. Gig -
I will publish a Guest Post on Huffington Post @ $5

I will not be linking to the gigs, but you could do a basic fiverr search and find them.

There's people selling the crappy fiverr gigs and adding a huge profit on for themselves.

There are also people selling genuine posts for $200, $300 to $900

I would rather give that $5 to a poor guy than waste it on those gigs.

Guests post. As someone made an account to post on the website. Backlinks won't do shit. You can legit make your own account on these sites and do it yourself. Or even start your own gig. Thought about doing medium/buzzfeed

Every gig is giving a Huffington post , $5 or $300.

Nothing fake or genuine in this i think both are giving huffington post , but i could not figure out how are they selling huffington post links for $5. I know it for a fact that its difficult to become an editor there.

:O

And if they are really giving it, why would someone buy $300 ones. I have seen people selling $300 backlinks for Huffington on bhw also.

I am not sure if you know , but you cant just make an account on huffington.

$300 ones are from editor accounts with do follow, $5 ones are crap ones that don't help you.

Are you sure the backlinks from medium/instructables don't have any effect?

Oh! So, thats the difference.Nicely pointed out. Well, basic $5 for diversity and branding might be worth no ? Ofcourse no-follow, so no ranking benefit.

Apart from that, do you think its possible to submit the article with no-follow ourselves ? Just curious how they do it, because Huffington does not have a register option.

It is also not indexed so only good if you want to be able to show people that you have a post there; not any SEO benefit at all.

Exactly, the $5 offerings will be providing links from the contributor accounts or whatever they are called and they are not even indexed by default.

Also, as far as I understand it all huffpo outbound links have now been changed to no follow - even those within articles published by editor accounts. Maybe someone else can confirm this?

Editor accounts are $300 +

The DIY Contributor accounts are the $5 ones.

They do have registration option but it is currently disabled

Oh, i get it now. Well, this has been informative & that's why i love bhw.

Nofollow @ $5 -> Not indexed "usually" , So useless
Do-follow @ $300 -> From an editors acc. (Worth it)
Well, in this case, "usually" is not the best word to describe the deal. Why ? Afaik (As far as I know) editors can move contributor articles to the main website if they deliver excellent informative outstanding no spammy no bs (etc etc) content.

Now, think about it. For $5, all you're going to get is a crap article (which will never be moved to the main website) with no-follow link on a page that's not even indexed. Not a great deal.

But you can actually publish posts on medium/instructable for $0. Well, unless you pay for the article. The $5 Huffpo is a waste of time and money.

If for $5 you can get post on huffingtonpost and get index even if it is nofollow, you can go for it.

$5 link is usually nofollow and non- indexation issues.
Better not to add such link.

Only go with quality ones.
