I'm a beginner in the CPA world, trying some content locker ideas, my question is can I use landing pages downloaded by httrack if I'm planning to drive traffic from Google using SEO ? , will not hurt my site or should i avoid em? any ideas, appreciate it!

i am a big fan of httrack and have used it for years to rip competitor sites when exploring new niches.
if you rip their articles, you may be hit with some penalty. so i myself don't take articles. plus you are liable to get dmca if the other person goes thru the trouble of reporting the ripped articles. ive seen many threads on bhw regarding this. (help someone stole my site -> did they take ur articles? -> if they did u have an eligible dmca claim to have them penalized). so don't rip articles.
i always swap the copy out with my own words. my main goal is to rip the html/css/js framework w/ assets. i always modify/add/remove things to my liking which i feel improves conversion rates. and optimize images/code which leads to faster site speed. my goal is always to be an "A" grade on gtmetrix. most stuff u rip will be an "F" or close to it.

yes! i ranked #1 on very hot keywords, with a landing page hundreds if not thousands of other IMers have ripped the template of.
you still have to do an seo campaign. it will not rank itself.
