How you get clients?

I mean not as a experienced designer with big portfolio, references etc.

But how to get them as not popular designer with some portfolio.

I cannot find any resolution to get clients. I do not want to fight on Freelancer.com, it is pointless to fight with India.

You can do some pro bono work for a cause or charity you support. This helps you build your portfolio and get real-world connections. It doesn't have to be charitable work. It can be for a local business that may be needing a new website. If you do it for a business that you think deals with other businesses, it will increase your chances of getting referrals. And most of the development/design work comes through referrals.

Ye, but how to source these people who need website. I tried and mostly people just do not reply to my messages about website.

You look for them locally. Just walk in into any small business and tell them what you do.

Either scrape mail list for leads
Or buy Jrvip when you've fulfilled post requirements. GL!
 
My colleague done Facebook/Instagram promotion and he find clients but depends from your target country/city

Be transparent with people. Tell them you're just starting out and want to build your portfolio. Do good work and you'll start getting clients slowly through word of mouth.
 
Join Facebook groups and offer a freebie, a few will like your work and will want to keep working with you :)

LinkedIn and Instagram are also great mediums to find new clients.

My agency uses both these strategies successfully to get new clients on monthly basis.

How do you close the deal from potential leads you collected? With calls or email?

Do you use lookalikes, Facebook Pixel info, or just normal targeting? I've got zero traffic, so i cannot use Facebook Pixel.
 
what are all the methods you've tried so far ? and why do you think they are having limited success?
 
Believe me, if you can afford Jr VIP, you will get better results than anywhere else.
 
You can advertise your services on various platforms. Then analyse the returns and proceed accordingly.
 
do websites for free charge 10 dollars for the monthly hosting. your local area small businesses new businesses are gonna be your bread and butter here.
