I feel like this may be a stupid question with GDPR complications but here goes ...

Naturally, being internet marketers, many of us here use Google analytics. Hypothetically, would it be unlikely that Google would cross reference Google analytics accounts with Gmail accounts receiving emails from BH marketing forums and pay more scrutiny to their listed websites (for SEO practices that may be penalised)

Even if people use different Emails for BHW (and the others that I won't mention) and analytics, we know how websites build fingerprints so I'm just curious. Also, complete guess, but if Google uses technology to read and interpret Emails as spam surely content monitoring exists.

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Although it seems paranoia, I don't know...Google is always observing, but I don't think it will affect your ranking chances or whatever

I think I've had one too many coffees so paranoia may be close to the mark aha.

But to expand on my post, I feel like a fairly low percentage of Google account holders would use the analytics tool so working back from analytics account holders to their relevant Gmails would not use an incredible system load tbh.

This a big argument already made for years here. Some people have claimed to have pbn sites deindiexed from using gmail I've read. Many people now won't accept content reports via google drive links for the same reason.

If your going to go full paranoid, then you should go all in I think. lol

Also I notice that new people to this forum and internet marketing tend to put a lot of weight on things that aren't relevant, like using analytics if you have little content or a crap website. I don't use google analytics, or submit to webmaster console, and my few good sites rank fine.

I don't feel I should bow to google to tell them my websites in the hope of getting something that now I can get via free webmaster ahrefs. Also my stat counter analytics tell me the daily traffic, which is all I really look at. I use gmail, and drive for all my sites to organise things. I wouldn't log into a pbn from chrome browser, that I do my google drive work in. Thats about my only stop mark.

It seems funny and fairly ludicrous to conduct business breaking Google's policies, while using Google's services aha. Discussing breaking forum rules overtly in forum DM would be the stupidest thing ever (not that I would ever do that mods) and its theoretically the same principle (guess Google's scale is the real kicker here)
