Your content's title is the first thing that your potential customers would read. It would make them decide whether they'd visit your website or just browse for other articles.

The ranking part is quite easy. The most important rule is to include your main keyword to it (like, hello, this is SEO).

The length of the title also matters. In tagging, Google gets the first 50 to 60 characters of your article's title. For mobile devices, it can contain up to 78 characters.

Now that we're okay with the SEO part, how do we make a title intriguing? Here's a list of things you may want to consider:

- Use "attention-seeking" or exciting words that would make your audience giggle. Example: You Will Not Believe What This Girl Told Her Dad After Prom

- How To's are one of the most popular reader catchers, well, because everybody is helpless. Example: How to Remove Lice on Your Child's Head In a Flash

- Controversial listicles of just about anything is also a source of giggles to readers, too. Example: 10 Hollywood Celebrities Who Married Hideous Tycoons

- You can use questions that would make your audience think (or question their sanity). Example: Are Narwhals Death Unicorns or Just Awesome Whales?

With all that jazz, always keep in mind that your content must back up what your title claims. You don't want clickbait for sure, so don't pass it on to your audience. Remember the golden rule.

Nice, sometimes when possible I add a question that the customer would ask on titles. Keywords + problem convert well in most case
