How to Whitelist a blacklisted domain name ?

Hello,

I would like to know if my domain name gets blacklisted, are there any ways or certain technics to whitelist it ?

If anyone know how, kindly tell me !

It'll be helpful to know where it's blacklisted, and the reasons for the blacklisting (if known).

It's really difficult, at least in the short-term.
The most common solution is to create a new domain an do a 1:1 301. Some people even do a double-redirection (consider that after the 4th redirection your site is out of the crawler) so it's a little bit more risky, but it helps passing some link juice and avoid passing the reasons of the penalization.

Also as @Stavro suggests, you MUST know why it got blacklisted. Because you have to disavow in the old and the new domain the bad links and clean everything you did wrongly.

@Stavro In case the blacklister refuses to get my domain name out of their base, do i have another alternative beside going through the blacklisting organisation where i'm listed at ?

@SirLouen By a double redirection, do you mean buy 2 new domains one redirecting to the next one and so on until i reach my old/first/blacklisted domain ? (does that works well with the emails aswell, won't they land on spam) ?

To which crawler are you refering to, of whom ?

What I'm asking is what sort of blacklist are you trying to reverse? Is it a deindex from Google, a DMCA against your host/registrar, an email blacklist from Spamhaus, etc?

If this is an email spam blacklisting, that is usually applied to the IP rather than the domain name, so a simple host change should fix that automatically. And in the semi-rare case that it is your domain that's blacklisted, and it persists even after a host change, your only recourse is to appeal through the organization. When you do so, explain how your server was hacked (or "hacked"), and that you have now changed to a more secure server with a new hosting company.

To reply to your earlier question, i'm talking about an email blacklist like in Spamhaus (by the way, don't these organisations communicate between each others and pass along the blacklisted emails ?)

However, i noticed in some prior blacklisting organization don't even have a form where you can apply for an appeal ? How to deal with such organizations in this case ?

Since each organization uses a different methodology, being on one list doesn't always mean you're listed on others. If you're unsure where your listed, MXToolbox.com has a good tool for that.

If there's no appeal form, and a change in your host hasn't resolved the blacklisting, there's really not a lot you can do. That said, not every email provider uses every list, so if you're absent from the most common lists (all of which have appeal forms) then you should be fine.

That is some great insight, very important information. I guess when we are sending emails from an email provider we are using their SMTP server, so there is hope to wish that the email provider as you said doesn't check with the blacklisting organisation if i'm listed in it or not.

But since my domain name or ip address of my domain is listed wouldn't i still get my messages fall into spam even if the email provider does'nt check with the lists where i'm blacklisted ?
