Hey everyone,

I'm currently running campaigns on Google Ads using a cloaker (specifically CloakingHouse), and I'm trying to figure out how to properly track conversions, ideally using Google Ads' offline conversions feature.
  • Is there any step-by-step tutorial or example on how to implement offline conversion tracking using GCLID?
Would really appreciate any advice, examples, or guides — happy to give back once I figure out my setup too.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but I recommend using a tracker. RedTrack is my go to.

Hey, if you’re trying to track conversions from Google Ads while using a cloaker, you might find this guide useful. It explains how to set up integration with Google Analytics and Google Ads:

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

Hope it helps!

Capture the GCLID on the safe page and store it in your DB/CRM, then when a conversion happens, send that same GCLID back to Google Ads via Offline Conversion Upload (API or CSV). Just make sure the cloaker doesn’t strip or block the GCLID.

Capture GCLIDs on your safe page and send them via Google Ads Offline Conversion postback when a conversion happens.

To track Google Ads conversions with a cloaker, you can use a tracker integrated with Google, such as Voluum or Redtrack. Save the Gclid when a user clicks on the ad, and then upload it to Google Ads along with other details when the conversion occursmikencube.co.uk.

For offline conversions, first create a conversion action in Google Ads and select "Import" as the conversion type. Then, save the Gclid when the user clicks on the admikencube.co.uk. When the offline conversion happens, gather relevant information like the Gclid, conversion time, and value, and upload it to Google Ads in the specified formatmikencube.co.uk. You can also use enhanced lead conversions in Google Ads, which involves setting up tags in Google Tag Manager to capture user data for tracking.

Store GCLID on your server when someone converts and upload it via offline conversions, works well if you set it up right.
