Its a matter of what you are using it for / why you need to be anonymous.... if its something where you are in deep and the feds came after you, for example, they would be able to trace it to the bank account (even though the acct info isn't viewable by paypal).

But yeah I know about some debit cards that don't require a SSN but they are expensive, like $70 it seems like just to get started.. anyways, just my thoughts as I've been thinking a lot about this lately.

I did not read all of that but if you are trying to open an anonymous account, there are services that will setup bank accounts, credit cards in any name you want, in countries that dont allow the US to access the data. Thats the only way really. Paypal is really anal be careful

yeah but you have to be careful to know what you're getting into since there are a lot of scams involving this sort of thing, you have to find an "easy out" to get the money quickly through a foreign acct to something usable in the U.S....

I think one of the best things for this is to buy the visa vanilla gift cards / or something like that, as you can order them online, so, for example, if you had a foreign bank acct with a fake name that had a debit card that could be used online, you could then use that to buy the visa gift cards online and have them sent to a forwarding address in the U.S. This can be a way of getting the money cleanly since I wouldn't trust hooking up a foreign acct to a bank account here or anything else along those lines since the point is to make it untraceable to begin with.

Okay for those saying this method is impossible without giving SSN details or if you're not in America, go to sigomoney.com. That card requires no SSN details (you can apply as an international person), and I'm sure you could get it shipped to a forwarding address in the US

Great idea! Just one thing - don't you think the guy whose details you use to open the paypal account might get into trouble since he does not report the paypal income to the IRS?

only half-read this, but the details need to be worked on a bit. When it comes to credit card scams like this (extremely illegal by the way) the trick is to:

Completely not use any information of yours anywhere while doing anything. Don't use your phone to call the card company, don't get the cards sent to your mailbox (in-store would be ideal), don't give them ANY of your info.
Don't show your face on the ATM cameras.
Don't keep using the same ATM.

To get around the IP issue, just drive around in a car with a laptop with WIFI (that has never been linked to you on any other ISP) and steal someone else's internet.

To get the name, social, DOB, and other info, post up fake online job applications on craigslist or other places. Make them for like McDonalds and such. Something popular thats everywhere in the US. Oh, don't set these up under your own IP and get them sent to a mail inbox you set up or check using your IP.

To make them look a little more believable, make sure the paypal and the cardholder name match.

All that said, it'd be pretty simple to go on Ebay, make a posting linking to a product you don't have, the people pay your Paypal, your Paypal pays your card, and you stick the card in the ATM and get your cash. I just always thought that the cards that were sold in stores that accept "direct deposit" mean from an employer, not paypal. Can anyone else elaborate?

EDIT: A few years back I almost tried doing this by receiving the cards though abandoned or rarely used mailboxes I found around, because they seemed to be easier to load. Then I just got lazy and got a job.

Yeah you can do that, I mean if you are willing to steal ID's thats not that hard its just that it becomes a serious crime in the eyes of the feds so you just can't afford to get caught, whereas finding other ways to weasel out of the SS #, such as offshore paypal accts, using a debit card that doesn't require SS # is much safer and probably wouldn't be considered illegal at all.

About the mailbox thing, I've been thinking of doing that, just don't know where to look for a rarely used mailbox, I figure if its abandoned or too unused it probably has a mail hold on it, so I have to check to make sure its actually receiving mail.... with the foreclosures and shit there are a lot of empty houses around though, but haven't checked to see if they are getting mail.

Thanks, this is very useful, does anyone have other similar services that don't require SS#, I want to make a list for reference as I will be setting up a few of these

this is also very useful for selling on eBay and still making a profit with there high ass fees. It allows you to tell eBay to go fu%k there self when it's time to pay your seller fees. Just make a new account.

Actually this is a great tutorial! Plus the title was How to set up an anonymous/untraceable Paypal account not how to set up a legitimate Paypal account. If you used your actual social security number then it would be a legitimate Paypal account, therefore not anonymous and of no use for blackhat purposes. Also, Paypal is not a licensed bank or financial institution, therefore they can not cross reference social security number information legally without customers consent anyhow.

I think there is an easier way.
1. create paypal with crappy online virtual credit card
2.transfer funds from there to a Legit bank account based in Switzerland
3.transfer Swis funds to a different paypal, and then withdraw

seems a lot safer and easier.
