How to secure Instagram account?

All right so I manage account with my friend whom I hired few months back.
He doesn’t have a direct access to account yet which makes the works slower.
I know him quite long and I trust him but you know, everything is fine until it isn’t.
I don’t read other people minds so I want to secure my account.
There is a way to add 2FA but then again you receive codes which are stored directly in the app (absolutely stupid feature that makes 2FA kinda useless IMO but whatever).

What other ways you see to secure account?
Any ideas are welcome, even ridiculous ones (make a contract or some shit like that).

You can't, just connect the phone number and verify the email, so if they steal your account and change the informations you can contact the Instagram support and give the account informations and Instagram will reset the password.

But email and phone number can be changed without any further confirmations too. Why would Instagram help me with anything? For them it wouldn’t look abnormal would it?

idk, i think if you give him all the old informations (email, password and number) they will help you, i never had problems with Instagram.
