I have my eye on a few domains that have been terminated some time ago, but are currently in Redemption Grace Period (I know the exact date since I know the owner).
There is no option to directly the transfer from the previous owner to me, unfortunately.

How do I make sure, that I will be able to snatch those domains once they come out of the redemption grace period?
Does someone have experience in this? Are there any bots or websites that help you get them via API or something else?
I know that there are businesses focussed on buying domains once they become available.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

After Redemption Grace Period, the domain will enter Pending Delete Period. Then it will drop.

You have to register it as soon as possible after it drop, in second/minute. If it has a good name, good metric, or brandable, you will face hundred or thousand competitors, who want to catch the domain, just like you.

You can also try backorder service to catch the domain, because they have a system to reg domain in second.

Are there any reliable ones? I feel like giving away a great domain name if I share it with them.

Set backorders on sites like Namejet, Snapnames, Dynadot, etc... (and the current registrar if they offer this service).

If it's an average domain name with no backlinks, chances are that you'll get it; if it's a good domain name, it'll probably be sent to auctions.

I get lucky now and then with those dropped domains.

I set alerts for the 29th day and then just stay on it.

Last one I picked up I got for a good price and sold it for 750.00 USD.

You can try dropcatch, dynadot, SAV to backorder the domains
