How to rewrite a recipe without copyright violation

Hello everyone,

I am confused about what to do as my niche requires me to write a lot of recipe articles, and as I am living in a studio (big cities problem) I don't have the equipment necessary to try every single recipe and post original photos. So, I need your help on that matter.

1. Do I need to change some things in the recipe to avoid being contacted by the person who created it or is that unlikely to happen?

2. About the images, I am blank on this part. How do I get original images without actually doing the recipe? Any way to modify the original recipe's images? What would you do if you were in my place?

Convert the amounts of ingredients, for example 2 cups = ~500ml, 2 tablespoons = ~30ml.
 
You can get images from social media platforms, photoshop images (add your watermark etc..).
 
Your project won't succeed on the long term. First how can you write recipes teaching people how to cook, without tasting it yourself? What if you put to much salt in your recipe? Second, you can't get same quality photos for every recipe you want to write, unless you copy the recipes from the same provider. Third, you can get sued, and is not worth it! I'd suggest you start with small recipes, that you can actually cook and take pictures and film yourself, or rent some co-working space.
 
Editing images changes nothing, you are still committing copyright infringement. You could get royalty free food images (there are a ton of them) or no images at all.
 
I have ranked lots of recipes where I have simply reformatted the recipe, maybe changed a few words and used different images from other recipes. I only ever use pics of the finished recipe. Works just fine, never had an issue in 5 years. Just be sensible.

you could change it a bit like 1tps of salt do 1/2 or 1.5tsp depends what it is.....baking just double the recipe or change some ingredients

I use recipes as complimentary content for home niche money sites. I then link to money pages, add direct affiliate links, or have sidebar best sellers. It adds extra revenue/sales to the site every month + gives the users and google a bit more depth.
 
Simple, make the dish yourself and take photos while making the dish. As for ingredients, just use different measurements (scale up/down). Nobody owns copyright for the ingredients lol.
 
There are services on Fiverr where I believe can do this for you in regards with getting original and high-quality images.

I have found it pretty easy to create images for articles by taking screenshots of youtube videos instead of taking the pictures yourself. Video creators don't tend to pay much attention to non-video content, so you shouldn't be contacted regarding copyright issues.
 
You can rewrite the recipe adding different words with the same meaning making it look different but you can't do anything about the pictures, even if you edit them they wouldn't look much different. If you really want to go a long way with this then it is better that you start making these recipes.
