Got a domain with good DA 19 and unfortunately it has 75% spam score.

What should i do? How do i reduce the spam score without affecting DA?

Thanks

Spam score is just simply an indication
You could just take it for simply cleaning it a bit with some disavows and all that
But if the spammy incoming links are not yours, you won't find an easy way to clear it

I never pay attention to those 'spam score' tools. If I see in GC links that could potentially harm my site, I disavow them. It takes some time but they do disappear from GC link count. I remember at one point I had a link from a website that was hacked generating like 1000s of links a week. I disavow them and they're all are gone. Even if you disavow bad links those 'spam score' tools can see them and give a false score. A couple of days ago, a well-known SEO guru was served manual action for unnatural links and his 'spam score' was as clean as it could be. It just tells you how good the 'spam score' tools are.

Simple.

- Click on linking domains
- Click on the 'Spam Score' column to order the domains by spam score in descending order
- Expand the domains with the highest spam score to see which pages of those domains are linking to your site
- Get the links removed
- Build more cleaner links to replace the removed ones

Remove the spammy links. Post best quality contents

Where did you check the spam scor, Moz? I am very doubtful about the accuracy of Moz's spam score. Its better you simply ignore this and start your standard SEO process.

I read the moz article, their is no indication that your spam score will improve on their metrics if you disavow the spammy links.

To reduce the spam score

*Build strong content.
*Avoid excessive external links.
*Develop internal links that leads to organic sites.

You should get rid of spammy and extremely low quality links. Once done you should definitely have better spam score.

Moz Spam Score is more funny than useful.
Just please check how they create it :D
