I never pay attention to those 'spam score' tools. If I see in GC links that could potentially harm my site, I disavow them. It takes some time but they do disappear from GC link count. I remember at one point I had a link from a website that was hacked generating like 1000s of links a week. I disavow them and they're all are gone. Even if you disavow bad links those 'spam score' tools can see them and give a false score. A couple of days ago, a well-known SEO guru was served manual action for unnatural links and his 'spam score' was as clean as it could be. It just tells you how good the 'spam score' tools are.
