How To Rank a Really Easy Keyword?

Hello Guys!
I have been in the era of blogging for long time but i haven't ranked even a single keyword yet. :(

i have found a keyword on adword and which has very less search volume that is something around 500. I want to rank on that keyword. The pages that dominate the first page for this keyword have copied contents which you can find on the sales page easily. How can i rank for that keyword? My article is well optimized (i checked it on IBP).

Please help.
 
Advertise on BHW
Place your main primary keyword in the Meta Description of your site. It will help the site rank soon for that particular keyword.
 
Did you also check the pages link profiles? If not then do this and build your strategy to outrank them.
 
I would suggest make sure you have long form content- by this i mean 2 or 4 articles of over 2000 words each covering the keyword to increase your chances. Make sure its content that adds value to your visitors.
 
If there is not competition I think ON page seo will be enough to rank your keyword. Some additional backlinks would be more helpful in case it still didn't ranked.
 
insert your keyword in the meta title. insert the keyword once in an an article on the homepage. insert the keyword creatively in the article title. embed an image in the article and make sure you title tag and alt tag the image with the keyword. if your article is written well your page will rank very high without any backlinks. have fun

Takes time and you probably have to promote your page as well to make it rank faster.
 
To rank a really easy keyword, you can go with some techniques ie. Guest posting and Blog making. Both techniques help you to rank your keyword in Google.
