how to protect myselft from ISP?

Hi everyone,

Daily i visit a lot of websites, and i make a lot of payments/cryptos daily, I want to know how can i protect myself from ISP, should i change my dns to cloudflare one?

VPN i do not like because of facebook ads etc that i use and that can trigger to ban me.

I used Adguard protection (android-ios-pc) and I m very happy with that, because my dns queries was private.
Sometimes I use it with the vpn option to link my network or add some proxies inside.

I think it's a very easy way to protect your fingerprints and doing your job normal.
 
Ghostery on Chrome is a good privacy extension / adblocker..

However, if I were you - I would use a VPN for general browsing activity then turn if off when you need to use sites like FB ads etc..
 
VPN is a good option and you can always filter sites to visit directly in vpn settings, that way your preferred sites will not be routed through vpn and all others through vpn.
 
Yeah, something like Windscribe is good because they have this ROBERT thing where you can whitelist websites.
I am thinking though, unless you're doing something illegal, why would your ISP care if you're doing cryptopayment stuffs?
 
an ad blocker is not enough your ISP will still see sites you visit.
the best option is a VPN to avoid any leaks.
 
If you're really concerned, use (Tor + Linux based Tails); at that point, you've leveled up to the "Level 5 (Thaumiel) Level 5 Security."

Check my signature, if you can see it, you have arrived to a highest level of security on BHW. Pat yourself on the back; you made it!

But the questions begs, "Why?"
 
if you are really concerned, get a VPS and use it exclusively for payments. you can use it with RDP/VNC with screen mirroring or you can setup OpenVPN or Wireguard to make it act as an VPN.

Public VPN's, free and paid use shared addresses and payment processors can lock you out because someone on the network decided to use it for spam.
 
Choose your vpn wisely because they can see *all* your traffic so better use a trusted one that don't keep logs.
Personally I wouldn't use tor if you are dealing with payments online, too risky

VPN of course as others suggested. Also instead of using chrome browsers or Firefox use Brave Browser. Much more secure, and you can even have the option to use a private tor browser tests built right into it
