    Hi

I recently heard a very new google update thats coming soon within weeks (may be days)

The full report is here, http://www.ninebyblue.com/google-optimized/

Its saying that doing Over SEO may results in getting sites slapped or de-indexed or position down in google results....

I would like to get a clarity in this...

    Does this mean
    1. Do I need to stop building backlinks constantly?
    2. Or the backlinks era is dead??

    3. As every one knows panda update is fully on articles / content. So how to get more optimized or how to get a top position in google with these contents?

this make no sense to me. So for now on if I want to kill my competition all I have to is start sending them thousand of low quality back links to their site and they will get de indexed or penalized ?

    Ohhhh...STOP....

they are already doing this now...the fact matt cutt's said what he said is really telling as what they are doing now is penalizing over-optimized anchor text/sites, so the answer to this is to de-optimize your anchor text...

add anchor text that includes naked urls, brand name, "click here" "visit here"...etc...

google turned down the dial on exact match anchor text and turned up the Google BLOOP (back link over optimization penalty)...diversify your anchor text and you will be good to go...

also, increase your social signals...you can buy some great retweet services on fiver.com...

get links on pinterest, google+, start a google places page...

all these will help with increasing your social signals...

i have already received a penalty so i am speaking from experience, not speculation...

my site is recovering slowly, but its on its way...

remember when google was caught buying links for its chrome browser, they had a self imposed 60 day penalty...penalties do expire when you are caught buying links, but if you are caught in algorithm penalties then its harder to get out and this is where BLOOP comes in...

DIVERSIFY your back link anchor text....no more than 15-25% of your anchor text should include your keywords...a good 50% should include your brand name, if you have one...if you don't have a brand name, then make 50% of your anchor text naked url's...

its so counter intuitive, but its true....

If you have stuffed keywords in meta tags, titles etc, it may also come in the circle of over-optimization, I suppose.
