How To Prevent Big G On Indexing Pages/Posts Like This?

Hi,

I have a website and I'm really annoyed that Google keeps on indexing some posts and pages like these:



How can I prevent the search engines from indexing posts/pages like these?

I am really new with this stuff.

Check your permalinks under Settings in your WP Dashboard.

I guess your current permalinks is set to /%postname%/%tag%/

Remove %tag%/ at the end so it reads like /%postname%/

Regenerate your sitemap and upload it to GWMT. Let Google crawl and update its index.

Note: Always make a backup before doing any modification to WP sites.

Bear in mind that the changes won't be instant so you'll need to be patient about it. Depending on how frequently your site is crawled it may take from a day to several weeks for all links to get "fixed" on Google's SERPS.
