How to monetize and increase user interaction with Facebook page?

I currently have a Facebook page with 100k followers and 100k page likes

These were all obtained organically.

The topic of the page is a sought after product, and many people write to the DMs of the page on where to obtain it.

I would like to see how I can monetize this, and how I could increase the pages engagement, as it's low at the moment.

200~ page likes
140~ new followers
6k page reach
500 page views


I was asked by a client to manage this page, and it is not in my expertise.

How could I increase engament, and publish ads of my own product on this page?

Should I simply post my offers intertwined between normal posts?

It's a sought after product, in terms of what?

Can you create a basis of interest around the product. Such as keychains, bumper stickers, etc? Have giveaways that start out with just comment participation and then gradually increase it to "share this post to be entered".

I have a few more ideas to drop but they're all on the contingency that you can pick-up an existing user base of already interested people.

It is a userbase of already interested people.

People constantly send direct messages to the page on where to obtain it, as it is currently in a legal "grey area"

This is a bump

I was going to suggest promoting an affiliate offer of the product they are interested in (or maybe a similar or complimentary product) but I saw the legal grey area part. But hey, you can still reach out to a seller and do a JV

You also can do a giveaway like someone suggested, to increase engagement and promote a related cpa offer

I started redirecting people from the page to a group, while still posting valuable content.

This is for two reasons:
Group is in another account (safeguard if it's banned)
Groups have more engagement
