How to monetize a website with more than 1 million views per month?

Hi,

So, my client has a website with more than 1-1.5 million views per month. Its an educational website where they post 2-3 articles every day. Their target audience is from age 10-18 yrs old kids. They are just using google ads which makes them around $50-$70 per day which I think is pretty low. Is there any better option to monetize their website?

Yes target audience is the problem. They don't have enough purchasing power. So, they don't even bother to click on ads or any affiliate links.

They might not have buying power but their parents do. Try maybe placing some ads of some stuff teenagers want. They might get their parents to buy from the link. Or maybe some membership can be offered in exchange for a small monthly fee.

Why do advertisers advertise toys then? It’s not the kids buying them but the kids nagging the parents to buy them for them.

I would recommend to advertise Game Keys and Game Items from websites like g2a & kinguin with affiliate links.
Example, kids love fortnite, they see fortnite key for a skin(fortnite psycho bundle skin) they click on it and then spam their parents to buy it for them.
There are a lot of websites like g2a and kinguin that offer affiliate programs.
