How to monetize a team of 5 developers

Hi guys!

So my friend is training a team of senior and junior developers. Because they are already done with their training assignment he asked me if they could do anything.
I right now have acces to their team for a few months. What would be suggested idea's where i can monetize them on. Social media scripts, bots etc?

May be create an open source project and ask them to contribute from their own accounts. If the project grows, you all benefit from it, including the developers. The developers get a strong profile from their work. Your company keeps the copyright (make it mit or something.. ianal) and possibly make a saas out of it.

edit: ps this won’t be direct monetisation though, atleast initially.

What are the ideas that you have so far thought of ? Perhaps you already have some brilliant ideas, about which we or some members could tweak up for you to accelerate your plan.

The easiest and fastest way is to post your topic on various forums, in which you will offer people software development services (for example). A more incomprehensible way for me is freelancing, but it seems like many people work this way

If you have access to senior devs there are a huge amount of options available. They shouldn't be messing with bots and scripts. Hire them out for short term contracts, or reach out to start ups who have fresh investment funds.
