I wonder what's the best way to monetizes websites with funny content nowadays. A lot of people has troubles with AdSense as they are usually banned by Google because of inappropriate content.

What's in your opinion to use as a monetization tool for this kind of websites?

A lot use content lockers, 9gag actually shows its own ads at around $2 cpm
