How to know whether this niche will be profitable or not?

I'm thinking of making a new website around a niche I love talking about. It's Japanese popular culture like anime, Japanese lifestyle, manga, cosplay, otaku life, etc. Given I've prepared a lot of content under several categories, how much can I earn after about 6-8 months? My traffic would be like 100 hits per day after 8 months, I guess.

Does it matter what it earns? If it's what your passionate about and if it's what you actually "enjoy", then put your heart and soul in to it, the money will come just do what you're going to commit yourself to.

$1-5 a month if its bad, $10-50 a month if its good, and $50-200 if its a quality authority site. If it is quality, you will be able to squeeze much more out of it, but that's what should at least be a starting point.

Every niche makes money. It all depends how much hard work you put into it and the most important is to have a plan on what you want to do and what are your goals.

Traffic = Money

If you can generate enough traffic than it doesnt matter what your niche is you can always make money out of it.

Well that depends on how targeted your traffic will!
You said that traffic will be around 100 visitors per day; right?
So, that's not actually that good no. the visitors must be highly targeted to get some $$ in!
I can't actually say how much $$ you will earn! it depends relevance between the offer and your visitor's interest !
