Add correct keywords to your titles and it’ll be easier for people to find your video.
Video thumbnails are just anther important point.
Share your video on other websites. Social media can be really helpful at this point

Its not just if you're new, most youtubers with a decent follower base use clickbaits to obtain more views on their videos.

True its not good for the loyal followers, nowadays is all about exposure and marketing the content by making them believe it will be better than what it really is.
