Yes, social networking is way of getting traffic. I suggest you to Keep posting fresh unique articles to the blogs, So for each post you can have social sharing

For new blogs, it takes some time to get traffic from search engines and you shouldn't really expect any traffic in first few weeks.. and as suggested above you can always drive traffic from your social network accounts..

SEO is passive longer term traffic. You may want to bring in more active methods of you want something quicker. Try posting urls in related forums and groups, posting blog post response comments, etc.

if you want a quick boost - try creating some youtube videos and optimise them - dont forget to add your call to action link in the description
