How to increase conversion rate in Facebook ads

Guys, I'm running a Facebook page since 2020 December. Last month I started to run a campaign for local customers, but unfortunately, I'm not getting many sales. I'm selling smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and other tech gadgets, which will get many sales. My selling price is reasonable for local customers even though my flyers are attractive with less than 20% text.

My campaign details:

I'm running a "Get Messages campaign."
Budget: per day $1
Messages: 132 messages after seeing the ad
Getting a sale after 9323 impressions which cost me $10 for the ad

Am I doing something wrong? Please guide me and give me some tips to get more sales.

I think having a conversion campaign would be best. messages will not have a high close rate
 
Maybe your target audience is too large or too specific. that will advertise more expensive and will cost more. let's multiply groups and see which ones are really effective and increase that team budget

For that do I need a website? currently, I don't have a website

I chose like 10-12 audiences in behavior. It's all similar to Smartwatch, Apple Watch etc.

I'm new to this Digital marketing. How to create a landing page website for an e-commerce site? please share with me some resources or blogs. I'll go through it
 
So you spent $10 and got a sale? 132 messages for $10 and got 1 purchase? That's good. It's like an 7-8% conversion rate. Now spend $100 and get 10 sales.

Don't focus on impressions to sales at this point. CPM is going to vary wildly depending on the type of campaign you have selected. CPM on traffic campaigns will be much lower than purchase campaigns. Same with add to cart campaigns.

$1 per day is not good. It's going to take you forever to scale. You need to try to spend more money. Not sure what country you are targeting, but in tier 1 countries $1 per day is not going to work.

Basically, you need to reevaluate your strategy. Go watch some YouTube vids by a channel called Common Thread Collective. They have some good, high level content about FB ad buying.

If you don't have the budget to go beyond $1 per day, you should try to hustle and save up so you can spend some cash and try to scale. Not every campaign/product is a winner though. You just have to keep trying and spending until you catch something good, then scale as fast as possible.

You should set up an account on ebay or buy a domain name for yourself

You came to the point. I think $1 is okay for a country in Asia. I'm targeting my local customers. As you said I'll try increasing the per-day budget. Thank you for sharing the YouTube channel, very useful for me.
 
I think using convert would be better. But with a new person, you need to learn more things. You can use messaging with more quality images and videos, Aim for similar goals, for example smartphone users will usually have a preference to buy watches. Direct targeting is highly inefficient and wasteful. Good luck
 
Also, you might consider having a funnel to have a better ROI.

  • Acquire new prospects and leads…
  • Convert those leads into buyers…
  • Get those buyers to buy more or buy more often (or both)!

Hi! you should keep doing this until it works, and then scale up. it is worth trying to use messaging with better images/videos
