How to hire wordpress expert safely?

Hi BHW Members,
I am running a subscription based wordpress website regarding some digital services that is creating a good residual income for me from few months. But for I want to make some changes into it such as:-

- To create a professinally looking and dynamic website instead of static old pattern.
- To remove some bugs while accessing the member area or signing up.
- To shift my members data from Ultimate Membership Pro to A Member Pro plugin at the same website.

But I am concerned about:-

- How to show stranger my business model?
- What's the guarantee he won't steel my users data?
- How he would not hurt me anyway?

I would look for someone with a BST Thread in the marketplace with good feedback. Search for someone who is making his living from developing and systemtuning.

I am pretty sure that it would be the end of his business here if he harm you in any kind (-> shitlist) or if he is stealing your business model.
So he has to choose to harm you or to continue making good business here on BHW. ...
