How to Grow Facebook Page from Nothing?

I have just started a new Facebook page and am wondering how to start growing my page. I have money available to spend on ads but I was wondering if ads are actually effective with close to no likes. Are there any ways to grow a page without ads?

Please share any experience you have with growing a Facebook page from nothing.

Hey man. I have some tips. I just recently grew a page from 0-200,000 likes in 2 months. First off, it depends on the niche. Mine was fairly broad and easy. I went with heartwarming/interesting videos and memes. for the first few hundred likes I paid around $70 and got 222 targeted likes and had a pretty small amount of reach per post, but I did have reach unlike when I had 0 likes. After a few weeks I posted a video that went viral and got me my first few thousand likes. After that it got easier and easier. The more likes, the more reach, the more reach the more likely a video would go viral. I've had multiple videos go viral (over 5 million views) in the last few months. My most recent was shared over 1.6 million times and had a reach of 300,000,000. I make sure to post a message like "Like MyPage for more amazing videos like this!" on each video. From that last viral vid I received over 80,000 likes in the last few days.

The best options for increasing facebook following is to take help from content development and social channels. Share your content on social channel and ask them to share with their friends. Also embed sharing buttons on each post will encourage users to share posts on social channels.

Become famous , have a channel or a blog.Then link it to your twitter account. Give important updates necessary for your subscribers on twitter and tell them its the only place they can get them. Also link your twitter with your facebook. You can also buy followers from sites like SEOclerks.
