I want to discuss one serious problem. Fb, Twitter even goddamn LinkedIn are literally infested with fake accounts or bots today. If you need more convertions from traffic generated within social networking systems sometimes it`s pretty hard to select (and attract) real target auditory from thousands of selfpromoters and 'likeforlikers'. Share your experience or ideas on how to solve this problem, pals.

If you plan on using this information to help your bots find better targets for your marketing, then you're part of the problem: As internet marketers we really should have an eye on the environment/infrastructure we try to live on: the internet and it's services. I see that much too seldom. Everybody thinks "just get the most out of it as long as it works". I built a twitter bot once, which was able to make 10k accounts in one night and deliver 24k messages a day. Seeing that it works "that good" made me think what i was doing there. If everybody would work twitter like that, it would go down someday soon.
Dang, I know people will never change, but it's the same with nature /resources and everything else: man just thinks for himself and gives a sh1t on the people after him. Each of us should think about how hard he hammers a site, after all, we try to make money from it, would be stupid to destroy it.

I think there is a slump in demand of such services like selling/buying fake FB likes and followers. However this market is still strong of course, owing to such marketplaces like Fiverr and Flippa. Hope the situation is changing in the right direction.

I do not beleive the situation will change radically. Cheaters will cheat. But what would you recommend to do, dear colleagues?

These services will continue to be in demand because they help those that are still starting. They use them to get exposure faster and once they do, they are already getting real likes, views, and comments. If it's hard to promote your business, I think these services can help but only when you are starting.

IMO if you want to change something on that scale, you need to start leading by example.

I only deliver good topics and viral pics, in an attempt to be wholesome I suppose. No bots...

I beleve that good results may be achieved when you create original content. Bots do not care about it. People do. If your place is a place where I can steal some content for my page I will definitely subcribe it. There`s no other way to rase percentage or real people.

Fake accounts or bots will not help for long time...If you are unique from those things then real people follows you for sure...

Good Luck!

Thank you. To my regret it`s actually a first useful comment in this thread. Bots really do not care about original content. People really do. So It is necessary to hire some artists to make more unique viral content to attract some alive visitors to our comunities.

Maybe start with people that already follow you like you FB friends or Twitter followers. The hardest thing is to start and gain first few followers, after if you create quality content those followers will share it with others therefore attracting more and more people.

Another way is to join similar groups that already exist and become an active member there sharing good info and advice. (It works well in FB because people can see your page by just clicking on your name.)

WE ALREADY have some real people. The problem is that following/unfollowing people on Twitter (we`ve found a higly targeted places to attract people from them) demonstrated that 99,9% of people crowding there are actually goddamn bots.
