So I came across this woman at a party last month. We got talking and I was like she seems like a good acquaintance. We met up 2 times for coffee after that and been a gentleman I offered to pay the bill both times. A few days back I met her at another party at an expensive venue and 4 people including her and I decided to order a platter which cost a bomb. We were almost done eating when she was like she needs to catch a flight in the morning and asked me to pay her share and she will reimburse me back. I was a bit taken aback but agreed. So she left and I paid her share along with mine. The next day I texted her mentioning the total amount paid and also asked her to pay me thru an online wallet. She replied saying that was a pretty expensive meal and I was like yup. The whole day today she has kept silent. I don't want her to get away with conning me and want my money back.What can I do?

Call the FBI?
Start up a METOO go fund me account, as this is basically rape?
Realize she doesn't like you and you paid for some food and drinks and get over it?

Oh, I see, omitting the tiny possibility something really prevented her from contacting you this time, I gotta say that you might just have to take that L. Unfortunately you are nowhere near the first or last person to experience something like this. So don't feel like you are just unlucky or something. you might be able to tackle these transactions individually and get your money back. like with your bank or credit company, or PayPal or whoever. But good luck with that.

You were taken advantage of, and unfortunately all you can do is learn from your mistake. Things you volunteer to do when you don't have to will become expectations.
 
Don't pay for shit unless:

1. you've fucked already
2. already established respect and check-splitting as the norm (women want equality right?)
3. she's a prostitute
4. it's not a regular thing and you happen to be feeling nice, maybe you're rewarding her cause she's been a good girl

Most other instances are a complete waste of $$$ with no benefits

She will respect you less
She will do it again and again
etc.etc.etc

This bitch took your $ and does not plan on getting it back or seeing you ever again (unless she knows she can get more free shit)

You shoulda stood up for yourself when she pulled the "I don't have $$$" shit - it's 2018... she's got money somewhere, on CashApp, Venmo, Paypal whatever the fuck
