I am looking at the timing of this post, just when most of the BHW members(Obviously I am one of them) are going through irrelevant stuff, looking for some fun and they see your post! Tadaaa!!
Word of advice, Never take a girl out if you feel she is out of your league because she probably will use your money, but will never use you, you know what I mean here
Secondly, if money is something you take too seriously if and when you share a lunch or dinner table with a girl; lay down your "Sharing'' rules and make sure its crystal clear.
Third, Make sure its not an expensive place so that if it backfires, you are still not going to regret it so much.
Forth, I wonder you would even remember all this I have said the next time you meet a girl
Anyway, on your above situation I'd suggest you to wait for a day and see if she replies for the earlier text you said. If she has the intent to pay, she'll surely contact you or else text her on Friday, Ask her about her plans for the weekend and do the same shit to her, Tit for Tat!

Quick update: So I saw that she has put up some party pics as her WhatsApp status with me in them. I'm planning on keeping it casual and WhatsApped her asking how's her weekend been. It's been an hour and no reply, she could be busy with work or she could purposely not be replying...but then why would she put up pics with me in them.... confusing!
