You can use software like GSA search engine ranker for backlinks, or manually create backlinks yourself. Adding unique content daily would help naturally rank the site also, this will gain you a steady flow of organic traffic. Create a pinterest, facebook, twitter, accounts and share your posts on them.

Don't use any software, concentrate on adding great content to it, syndicate your content to quality places that allow that,if the blog is on wordpress install snap and set an account for each social platform they have and each time you post you will get more signals and backlinks. Share you posts on g+ communities and fb groups. Join a few forums in your niche that allow signatures . Get some high quality social signals for each of your posts, i'd suggest you try viral content buzz for that.
It will take a little work but if you keep doing the above in a few months you'll have a lot of traffic

yeah traffic is the main thing. you can make a Facebook and buy some like for BHW and start sharing your links
