How to get more people to join my affiliate program??

Hey everyone,

How do i get more people to sign up to become an affiliate. We offer 60 percent commission on orders yet we get very few people sign up. We have advertised on other forums and the site also advertises is and we get plenty of traffic.

Any ideas how to get more to join. Please only legitimate methods.

Try to run contests and give away prizes for whom ever earns the most or even to whomever recruits the most legit affilates.

At the moment it's just a light box we are in the process of completely changing everything around hopefully to improve conversions

I really hate these kinds of posts. You are asking how to get people to join your affiliate program and how to advertise it, when your whole intention here is to advertise your affiliate program.

I hate these kind of posts, as people who make them must think that they are really smart, and everyone around is a dumb cunt.

Not that it is an issue advertising your affiliate program here (as far as I know). So why not just straight up advertise it, along with the benefits (If any) , instead of trying to be clever.

I suppose after time you could upgrade to Jvip and make a banner to advertise in your Sig. You could also buy Sig space off users here to advertise your affiliate program.

Well you're completely wrong To be honest if i wanted to 'straight up advertise it' I would. I was asking for others peoples advice and that's what i got. Sorry if it seems like I am trying to advertise my site but again that wasn't my intention.

Awesome. Definitely work on setting up a solid affiliate recruitment landing page.

I'm literally at the same "affiliate attraction" stage as you on a new project I'm working on.

And after working with clients on their new offers(I'm a copywriter)...here's a golden nugget of wisdom when it comes to getting affiliates excited about promoting your offer: You literally have to "sell" your affiliates on joining your program.

Especially when nobody in your niche knows you.

Treat your affiliates JUST like customers, give them a solid reason to give your offer a try.

THIS: Proof of sales.

For example, the project I'm working on, I'm brand new in the niche. Don't know NOBODY.

So I'm not going to try and recruit affiliates until I have PROOF that other affiliates in the niche have made sales with my offer.

So what I'm doing is I've been contacting potential affiliates in my niche and bribing them with money to send a test mailing to my offer.

So far I've got two guys who are well known in the niche to do it, and it converted amazing for them.

So now I get to take the sales proof of them making sales(screen shots of earnings and the emails they sent praising the conversions) and I'm going to put THAT on my affiliate recruitment page.

So now when I reach out to more affiliates? They'll want to promote because it's proven to convert!

One of the tips is to join groups on Facebook in your related niche, perhaps even create your own group.

If you have traffic, but no one seems to join, perhaps it's the program that needs to be improved? Maybe affiliates don't find enough value to start promoting it? 60% commission seems a lot, but what about other aspects of program, like support, marketing materials (banners, guides, etc.), also do they see you as legit company? All of this matters.
