I've been reading about power likes and other methods to speed up the process of growing an Instagram account, But I wonder what else could I invest in to grow a brand in general.

Research what type of content gets you good likes in your niche (watch your competitors). Test different hashtags and start posting like 3-5 times a day (quality content) and you will start growing slowly.
Also once u get aorund 10k followers start DMing other accounts for s4s (i would recommend sending 5-10 DM's a day to different profiles.
This is organic and free way of getting you some traction on your account.

Follow this and then you can also try getting shoutouts from influencers in the niche you're in. Stimulate engagement in your profile. Always make sure the hashtags you're using are updated. -Micah
