I run a marketing firm. We do Seo, web, PPC, ORM and social I have over 100 ongoing clients. I sort of stop bending over backward for everyone and as a result, I lost a few clients maybe 10 this year. But these clients I swear we're sucking the soul out of my life and I'm glad they are gone. One client was calling me every day after we started doing their PPC campaign to check on it and I said he can't do this I have other clients and he threw a pissy fight so I just let him go. On top of that, they were paying as much as other people except this one just now that was like 1000 a month.
That being said about 70% of my other clients, not one peep or maybe once every 2 weeks. They are very easy clients and are my foundation very happy to have them. But when I look back at them the way I got them was just through luck or that marketing worked and they finally shut up lol.
So I guess my question has anyone found a way to really screen clients. I want clients who understand the marketing and aren't going to bitch and complain every 5 seconds. My tolerance for that shit is thin nowadays. Am I being too much of a bitch? Let me know maybe I need a reality check?
