I have noticed that some websites do have Sitename appearing in the Search Results.

For example:

But then there are also other websites which just have a domain name at the top.

Like this one:

I checked schema and it does says :

@Type":"WebSite","@id":"https://www.example.com/#website","url":"https://www.example.com/","name":"Site Title Here"

I tried searching but not getting proper info on how to achieve it.

Thanks.

Make sure your website has a clear title and relevant content, but keep in mind that search engines decide how your site appears in search results.

You can add website name at the end of your title following by separator or pipeline eg: your title here | backhatworld.com

Or
Can add website name tag on schema

Note: Google automatically fetch website name if you follow this to your number of pages.

Try this and and wait for recrawl or reindex

Thanks

Use schema markup on Homepage with your preferred site name/brand name.
