If you are searching with any "website" as keyword such as "Pinterest" it is for getting traffic from Pinterest or that website
using website name in keyword is basically to promote any content on that specific website
You can never outrank Pinterest by publishing "thanksgiving desserts Pinterest"
I repeat the keyword one or two times in the articles, use two - three images with captions of same keyword
and using a Youtube video as embed also helps

You can only get max 25 ideas
the best thing is to keep searching each day and you will get more ideas, use past day and 7 days

Trending topics traffic usually drops, you can think of it as churn and burn method
However there are some topics like movies, TV shows, sportsperson, celebrities that keep trending for while

usefull trick, using google trend.
but, it is just optimal for US area. If I use it to search google trend Indonesia, most last 24 hours data is not there

I was looking for a guide to know how to use google trends, but finally I found your thread is very useful and short, but you did not specify how we can find topics with a weak competition, anyway thank you so much for the guide ;) .

I'm using google trends for many years. But I'have never dreamed to use it the way you shown. You really deserve coffee or Beer LOL
 
I already use a tool that drills down on this pretty quick.
