How to fight a scammer on Skype?

Hello guys, I have a serious problem. There is a scammer who acts using my name. If you search me on Skype you will see scammer's account above mine. He already scammed a few people and I lost good potential customers because of him. I reported his account but this doesn't help, his account is still live and he continues to scam people.
Does anybody know how it is possible to fight him? I am really tired of this bastard and I don't know what I can do about this

Just an idea...

Set up alt account, chat to him/her and pretend to purchase from him and bate him then before you purchase something say "hey, I have found this guy which is the author account/seller, how are you selling the same product as him".

Then report him as a scam..
 
Make Awareness in your Service thread and use your Signature to prevent your clients from Fake Skype profile

There is no other way than this
 
If possible, try to move away from Skype and use a different platform. Nowadays people use multiple platforms and Skype is one of those that's easy to scam on because of how they display results.

It's better than ruining your reputation and losing customers.

How is that gonna help?
 
You must be Chuck Norris to fight with the scammer.
That's why you need a legit way of making money and a company then the authorities will take care of that guy and you will also receive compensation for the loss he caused you.

Try to expose them of impersonating your brand and falsely providing your services to people that can become a victim to fraud. However, I don't know what services you are providing so hard for me to comment...
 
raise awareness on your site/signature/sales page that there are people pretending to be your skype and to act with high diligence
you could potentially get off skype totally. i hear telegrams support team is more pro-active fighting scammers once sufficient reports come in
you could ask your bhw friends to file reports. usually it takes volume for action.
btw your bhw signature goes to random reply in the sales thread rather than the first post. not sure if that's on purpose.

Its not only you, almost every BHW seller has this problem (Including me). I've quite a few scammers on Skype who are using my name and impersonating me.

I stopped using Skype as a customer support channel few years ago, but if you can't do this, there are few things you can do to minimize the risk.

Post regular warnings on your sales thread and educate potential buyers to be aware of the fake Skype scammers. You can tell them to verify your identity by a PM on BHW, before they start chatting to you on Skype to make sure it's you they're talking to.

If you want to carry on using Skype, there's not much you can do other than this.

If someone has a similar or even a very closely similar Skype username or Skype ID as your's and you report that to Skype, then Skype will take no action because that is not a violation of Skype's terms and conditions.
However if the Skype users who has been scammed by that scammer, report that scammer's Skype username (ID) to Skype, then there is good chance for Skype to terminate that Skype account.
If you do not want to lose customers, it is always better to provide your direct Skype chat link, rather than providing your Skype username (ID).
 
Do deal via PM or have a link to your skype and not your username.

Better to go leagal against him or leave Skype forever.

I was unbanned a long time ago but it still says that. Would be great if someone could fix that.

I know it's ironic me commenting on threat saying to sell via PM when I got banned for that but he's a VIP I was not, so he can do it without issues.
